The LFA was started in response to parents' need for their children to participate
more actively in sport. With obesity rapidly becoming the number one cause of disease and ill-health, the need for children
to remain active and energetic has never been greater.
Working closely with local primary schools we aim to deliver safe and
fun coaching sessions. Interest in sport at a young age has shown to reduce incidences of crime, drugs and vandalism. Sport
is a major catalyst in driving young people away from criminal activities. The LFA is therefore committed to developing
children both as players and individuals.
We take a responsible and professional approach to coaching youngsters. We aim to be enthusiastic
and patient thereby creating an environment where children can learn at their own pace in a controlled and fun way.
The London Football Academy operates a Child Protection policy. All of
our coaches are FA qualified, CRB checked, and possess up to date FA credited Child Protection and Emergency Aid certificates.
We aim to have a player-to-coach ratio of 15:1.
